Italian Supper Success!

What a wonderful evening! You all worked together to create a friendly and caring atmosphere. The service was excellent and the food delicious.

The Italian dinner is Friday. Today's after school meeting was all about planning and last minute details!  Here are the highlights:

• Students need to plan on staying after school to help set up.
• We should be finished by about 7:30
• Everyone is encouraged to wear black pants and white shirts
• Food, plates, tables and decorations are all planned out
• Things that need to be picked up are salt, pepper, plates, and bowls.
• Mr. Davis is bringing trays and pitchers.
• Students will have the option of eating at about 4:30

We are working hard on plans for an Italian Extravaganza! This Friday you can get meatballs, marinara, lasagna or Lobster Alfredo.  

The time: 5 - 7pm

Today we focused on making signs for the November 2nd Italian dinner and putting up advertising for this week's breakfast. Thanks to everyone for helping out!

We made survival bracelets. It took us a while to get the knack of it.

This was our second meeting this year. The teachers borrowed or brought in their own packs so the students could get a look and feel. We hiked about a mile.
